A divorced northeastern North Carolina farmboy back in Carolina via Washington DC, a small Carribean island and Texas. Mostly self-educated I am the product of public schools, a few trips to college, the school of life (& hard knocks), a WWII veteran father who could build anything, and a Sunday School teacher mother who loved to read anything she could lay her hands on. What year is THAT? Look at his uniform. Are we talking WWI era?
It's an in between wars uniform. I'm guessing 1925ish... Of course he could be a veteran. It's one if my favorites because of the note on the back.
... makes me wish that they still issued those Montana peaks..... I wore an old China Marine uniform once in a USMC birthday ball celebration....
