Alabama Bound

Game day again. Tonight East Carolina squares off against UAB in Birmingham at 7pm (eastern).
If you wanna watch, follow the football link over on the right.
First Down... PIRATES!
Damn... lost 17-12
What the Hell is up with this 5 point thing?
Oh, almost forgot. There is some game here in Austin today, the Longhorns are playing Ohio State or something like that. Somebody said something about #1 and #2. Must be a bathroom thing. Eh.

N.C. State 23, Appalachian State 10
AARON BEARD, Sep 2, 2006
Andre Brown ran for 125 yards and a touchdown Saturday to lead North Carolina State past Division I-AA national champion Appalachian State 23-10 in the season opener

Oh, wait. That was last week when ECU only lost by 5.

Hold on... James Madison? You're bragging about beating James Madison? Cripes, Me and ten friends (If I HAD 10 friends) could go up and beat James Madison. Hell, If i'da known that was who you played today I'da left out the snarky comment about State. P'ah.
Damn, I hate wasted snark.

Don't worry, you're full of s____
(of course I was referring to "snark"....) so you'll have plenty left. See, if I really wanted to be nasty I'd say something like, "You're just bitter because I graduated... twice...", but you know me. I'm wayyyyyyyyy to sweet and loving for a comment like that.
Snark, snark, snark.
Actually, it's true confessions time. (Nervous enough now?) I actually pull for ECU and WCU and I used to pull for Davidson also before they descended into goose murder, but that's a whole other gruesome tale. I love it when the underdog wins. No poor pun intended there Knine. I thought it was great when ECU was wiping the astroturf with the big boys a few years back. Furthermore, purple was my favorite color when I was a kid. Always hated yellow. Too darn perky for my taste even then. It's just ever so much fun yanking your chain. I've spent the greater part of my life doing it and it's a habit I just can't seem to break. Who am I kidding. Never tried!
Love you-mean it.
PS-We still won and you still lost and them's the facts purple boy.
