College Prep

Come Saturday it's the opening game of the Pirate season. The boys will be playing Va Tech in Charlotte at 12pm eastern (That's 11am my time). They handed us a 10 point loss last year, so let's see what we can do about that...
Hey, Steve T! Any bets?

Well K-9...looks like I'll probably be watching it also here in SoCal. You see, I have 2 girlfriends flying in to from Charlotte and the other from Mooresville. What part of NC are you from?

Mooresville? Holy crap! I have friends who own Port City Cycle. (Hi JRB)
I grew up in the northeastern part of the state, up in the swamps and went to college at ECU.

Are you a Pirate too? Where the Hell are you from?

The line is 9.5 right now. Want to take the points for a beverage of the winner's choice?

Are you working that morning? We could find a place to watch the game.

The Hokies just red-shirted a QB and went with Glennon fulltime so hopefully the offense will settle down. I still think this is a home game for the Pirates even if it is a "neutral" site.

Got to work. Last weekend of the month type of thing. You are, however, on for the beverage. 9.5 seems about right, as does the home advantage bit. We played State there a few times.

ECU. Is that a credit union?

*runs away snickering*

Really. I must stop making fun of football in the South. Or I'm gonna get an ass-whuppin' some day.

Make all the fun you want. Two bowls in two years and shooting for three.

Besides, try living in Longhorn country and tell 'em you went to East Carolina.

Then try to get it on TV out here.

Now, I gotta know about the Mooresville Connection too! Please tell me they have NOTHING to do with NASCAR!
Oddly enough, instead of watching the ECU game at home I'll be in Baton Rouge pulling for my boys. Go Mountaineers!!!!!!
Just go away Gustav!!!
