"The disposition of noble dogs is to be gentle with people they know and the opposite with those they don't know... How, then, can the dog be anything other than a lover of learning since it defines what's its own and what's alien." - Plato

I just recently became aquainted with Patriot Writer. She seems to be as sharp as she is attractive, and that's saying something. Stop by and give her a look see. It's worth the price of admission. She has a regular link in the right hand column now too.Labels: Other Bloggers

I like Halloween. I always have. One year Ma made me a Bigfoot costume out of some furry material. OK, it was supposed to be a gorilla, (The mask was a gorilla) but she made these big feet with toes and everything that fit over my shoes.
My first year out of high school I dressed up for Halloween at work. I was a checker/bagger at the local A&P. Ma made me a hood. It was red and had white horns on the side of it. She also made me a red cape. I had a black shirt and black pants and donned a red tie and gold tie tack. We were required to wear ties in those days. I painted my face red, and used eyeliner my older sister had left in the bathroom to add a pencil thin mustache and V shaped goatee. I snagged a name tag at work and with the trusty click click label maker I was... "Lucifer". Yes ma'am.Labels: Halloween, Random Memories
Yet one more from Pecan Street. "H" is a pastry chef who had body art showing here and there. (That's her foot in the picture and you can see some ink peeking out from her sandal strap)Labels: Sunday Ink

I wanted to get a better picture of this, but I was sitting on the wrong side of the road and there was an APD officer behind me. Granted it was before I started drinking, but I have found that the average cop is more likely to cause you trouble than get you out of any.Labels: Useless crap
I don't come here as often as I once did, due to some past personal disruptions, but I'm coming back more and more. I love this place. In case you didn't notice, it's the only banner ad on my site and I provide it free.Labels: Mi Tejas
Another one from Pecan Street. This is "ANT". Odd thing about this tough as nails babe: She was handing out fliers for an environmentally friendly insectiside. I swear!Labels: Sunday Ink
